Tematem VII edycji Seminarium Feministycznego są „Mistrzynie”. To feministyczna klasyka – promowanie kobiecych autorytetów, wzorców mądrości i sukcesu. Figury mistrzyń są niezbędne w świecie sztuki, który bez nich pozostaje niepełny, zubożony o reprezentantki połowy populacji. Liczba mistrzyń musi wzrastać, by adekwatnie odzwierciedlać udział artystek w świecie sztuki.
Podczas VII edycji Seminarium zapytamy o możliwe strategie działania: co robić, by doświadczenie artystek, które jest marginalizowane i spychane do niszy trywialności, prywatności oraz indywidualizmu, przemienić w takie, które promieniuje na zewnątrz i staje się wzorem dla innych.

VII Seminarium Feministyczne odbędzie się w Krakowie, w Domu Norymberskim. W tym samym dniu i miejscu nastąpi finisaż wystawy zbiorowej „HERstoria sztuki II”. Wystawa, zorganizowana w związku z „Rokiem Kobiet na ASP”, wpisuje się w cykl dorocznych wystaw przygotowywanych na 8 marca przez Iwonę Demko i Renatę Kopyto.
The 7th edition of the Feminist Seminar is devoted to Mistresses”. It is a feminist classic: promoting female figures of authority, role-models of wisdom and success. Mistress figures are indispensable in the art world, which otherwise remains incomplete and devoid of representatives of half of the population. The number of mistresses must remain on the rise in order to adequately reflect the participation of women artists in the art world.
During this edition we will ask about possible strategies of action: what to do in order to transform the marginalised experience of women artists, which is relegated to the niche set aside for triviality, privacy and individualism, into an experience that shines out into the world and sets a model to follow.

The 7th Feminist Seminar will take place at the Nuremberg House in Krakow. The same day and venue will see the closing ceremony of the group exhibition “The Herstory of Art: II”. Organised in connection with the “Women’s Year at the Academy of Fine Arts”, the show sits within the cycle of annual exhibitions created for 8 March by Iwona Demko and Renata Kopyto.
